Roy H. Greenberg, Chief Executive Officer
Roy is one of the founders and a principal of Momentum Commercial Realty, Inc. (“Momentum”) and is currently the Chief Executive Officer.
He is actively involved in all the executive activities of Momentum including financial, asset management, and he directs the acquisition and disposition programs. He has been operating commercial real estate properties since 1985. To date, Roy has been involved in real estate transactions in excess of $1 billion.
Roy is experienced in property tax matters including appealing valuations and if necessary, litigation. He is also familiar with general corporate litigation and handles such matters alongside our outside council.
Roy received a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa, is a Chartered Accountant and obtained a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management in 1985. Originally from South Africa, Roy moved to the USA in 1983 and brings with him a broad knowledge and understanding of all aspects of real estate and business.
Roy holds a Broker’s License in The State of Texas. He served as an independent trustee of a publicly traded REIT for over 15 years. In his capacity as an independent trustee, he chaired the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and was a member of the Compensation Committee. In addition for seven years he served as a court appointed receiver to handle the disposition of assets and recovery of funds of a real estate syndicator who raised approximately $100 million from investors and subsequently fled the country.
Up until recently, Roy served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations.
Bryan J. Lurie, President
Bryan is a co-founder and principal of Momentum Commercial Realty, Inc. (“Momentum”) and the President of Momentum.
Bryan is responsible for new acquisitions and oversees the management and construction of the Momentum Portfolio. He is well known within the brokerage community and sees many opportunities through these brokers. Additionally, he is well versed in representing third party tenants and clients looking to acquire buildings for their own usage. He has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1996.
Prior to forming Momentum, Bryan was a Vice President with Churchill Capital Company in Dallas where he was responsible for evaluating, underwriting and closing loans on commercial, retail and industrial real estate totaling more than $120 million.
Bryan holds a Broker’s License in The State of Texas and is also an active member in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). For a period of eight years, he served on the Board of Directors for a non-profit school and in 2014 co-chaired of the new building committee overseeing the design and construction for the renovation of the school.
A Texas resident since 1994, Bryan grew up in South Africa where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and then went on to earn his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management in Nashville, Tennessee.
Daniel A. Greenberg, Vice President
Daniel is a principal of Momentum Commercial Realty, Inc. (“Momentum”) and serves as the Vice President.
Daniel oversees the leasing of the Momentum portfolio and sources new acquisitions. Daniel spends a significant amount of time identifying and pursuing off market acquisition opportunities. Based on his leasing input and knowledge, he is involved in the design and layout of lease spaces to ensure they are generic and appeal to as many prospects as possible. He has been in the commercial real estate industry for over 10 years.
Prior to joining Momentum, Daniel was recruited to manage the finance division and was actively involved in the development division of Genesis Real Estate Group in Dallas, a national multi-family institutional developer. While attending college, Daniel founded Campus Cribs, LLC, a highly successful real estate brokerage firm specializing in tenant representation.
Daniel holds a Broker’s License in the State of Texas and is also an active member in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR). Daniel attended the University of Texas at Austin where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business. Daniel was born and raised in Dallas and currently resides in Dallas.
